Day 35 - This is the End
I woke up this morning not knowing where I was headed.  Pittsburgh was a possibility even as I got in my car although before leaving the parking lot I was already sidelined at Bob Evans for some breakfast.  Hey, no one likes to drive on an empty stomach.  Content with the fact that I had consumed enough saturated fat for 6 months (you always want to be prepared for a mid summer hibernation or something) I got back in the car and hopped back on the highway.  I figured I had two choices: 1) take the highway north to Pittsburgh or 2) take the highway north but get off at route 50 and start heading east again. In my mind I decided to take route 50 because if I went to Pittsburgh I knew I would have to drive through the whole state of Pennsylvania to eventually make it back home.  I’m sick of driving through the endless miles of PA.  As I was on the highway heading north towards route 50 I saw another car with a NY license plate.  I didn’t feel so far from home anymore.  Suddenly the trip was over.  575 miles later I was home.  35 days later and over 8,980 miles later I’m both happy and sad to be back.  Check back in a week or so and I intend to have some reflections and afterthoughts on my journey, if anyone even cares anymore.  The quick answer to anyone wondering if they should make a similar journey is: yes.
